Error Responses
If the switcher is unable to execute a command it receives because the command is invalid
or contains invalid parameters, the switcher returns an error response to the host. The
following error response codes can be sent:
E01 – Invalid input number
E06 – Invalid channel change
E10 – Invalid command
E13 – Invalid parameter
E14 – Invalid for this configuration
E17 – Invalid command for signal type
Timeout
Pauses of 10 seconds or longer between command ASCII characters result in a timeout.
The command operation is aborted with no other indication.
Unsolicited Responses
Unsolicited responses are initiated automatically when the state changes on the unit for
input selection, signal status, HDCP input status, HDCP output status, executive mode
enable and disable, auto switch enable and disable, and DTP/HDBT switch status.
