2. Right click on the Host PC icon at the top of the tree, click Add DTM.
Select a '1715 EtherNet/IP Gateway DTM', click OK.
3. Right click on the '1715 EtherNet/IP Gateway DTM' that has just been
added, click Add DTM. Select a 1715-IF16 or 1715-OF8I, depending on the
type of physical I/O module present. Repeat for each I/O module.
4. Now add the HART device DTM's. Right click on an I/O module, select
Add DTM. Select the device DTM, then select the I/O channel to which
the device is connected. Note that the first I/O channel number is 0.
5. The 1715 I/O DTMs must also be configured as described below. This can
be done before or after adding the device DTMs.
IMPORTANT
Device DTMs are provided by the device manufacturer, and
require separate installation, not covered in this guide.
