4.5.2.2 Activating Google Drive

Follow the steps below to activate the Google Drive function:
1. Ensure the Video to Cloud or Picture to Cloud functions on the related alarm setup page
(Motion, IO, Intelligent) has been enabled.
2. Register an account on Google Drive website. It's recommended to create the account
with the same Email address and password used for your DVR.
3. Ensure the DVR network is working properly.
4. Configure the SMTP function (refer to 4.4.3 Email).
5. Configure the Cloud settings.
a. Check the Cloud Storage checkbox to enable the Cloud function.
b. Select Google Drive from the Cloud Type.
c. Select a Cloud Overwrite option and Video Type.
d. Click Apply.
6. Click the Activate Cloud button to activate the Cloud function. The below message will
pup-up on the screen. Check your email and complete the cloud activation within 3
minutes.
7. Go to your email box, an activation code and link should be included in the email. Click
on the provided link and enter the activation code. Click Next and sign in your Google
account.
