(1) Place Antenna Coupler
bottom of the coupler.
(2) Lock Antenna Coupler
down and locked position.
NOTE: Antenna Coupler must be tightly pressed and locked in place for Test Set to
function correctly. Coupler will lock into place when the black rubber gasket
is not completely depressed against the aircraft, but the Test Set will not
measure functions accurately.
CAUTION: DO NOT CONNECT COAX CABLE TO IFR-6000 ANT PORT. DAMAGE
TO EQUIPMENT WILL OCCUR.
(3) Connect long RF coaxial cable
Connector.
CAUTION: THE RF COAXIAL CABLE CAN BE A TRIPPING HAZARD. MAKE
SURE TO SECURE THE CABLE. PERSONAL INJURY AND DAMAGE
TO THE ANTENNAS AND TEST EQUIPMENT COULD OCCUR.
(4) Temporarily secure the coaxial cable to the aircraft with tape. Tape can be removed
after the test is completed.
(5) Push Antenna Coupler
on the rim of the coupler is completely depressed tightly against the aircraft.
G. Connect Weight On Wheels (WOW) box or Aircraft Maintenance Computer (AMC) and
set switches on Box to W-On-W (on-ground). Refer to
On Wheels (WOW) Box - Connect/Disconnect.
