Peripheral temperature sensor
is defective.

Temperature difference
between the skin temperature

Temperature difference

Temperature sensor incor-
rectly attached to patient.
Water supply is empty.
Air bubble in transfer set.
Remedy
Replace sensor.
Check that the sensor is correctly
attached to the patient.
Switch off external heat sources.
Check whether the double wall can
be removed.
Check patient's heat exchange.
