10.2.2 Switching MyModes with the remote control app

INFORMATION
Bluetooth on the prosthesis must be turned on in order to use the remote control.
If Bluetooth is switched off, it can be turned on by turning the prosthesis upside-down or by connecting/discon
necting the battery charger. Bluetooth is then turned on for approx. 2 minutes. The connection must be estab
lished during this period. If required, Bluetooth on the prosthesis can be switched on permanently afterwards
(see Page 86).
Once a connection to a prosthesis has been established, the remote control app can be used to switch between
modes.

10.2.3 Switching MyModes using motion patterns

Information on switching
Switching and the number of motion patterns must be activated in the adjustment software.
Before the first step, always check whether the selected mode corresponds to the required motion type.
Requirements for successful switching using motion patterns
The following points must be observed to carry out switching successfully:
Switching using motion patterns has to be enabled in the adjustment software.
Stretch out the prosthetic leg to the back and bounce on the forefoot while maintaining contact with the floor.
Switching process
1) Within a second, bounce the forefoot the number of times that corresponds with the MyMode you want
(MyMode 1 = 3x, MyMode 2 = 4x).
→ A beep signal will sound to confirm that the motion pattern has been recognised.
2) Move the prosthetic leg in next to the contralateral leg, set it down and keep it still for approx. 1 second.
→ A confirmation signal will sound to indicate that the prosthesis has successfully switched to the corresponding
mode (2x = MyMode 1, 3x = MyMode 2).
INFORMATION: If this confirmation signal does not sound, the leg with the prosthesis was not cor
rectly repositioned next to the contralateral leg or the requirements were not observed when bouncing
the foot. Repeat the process to correctly switch to the desired mode.
