Remote control
Calling up remote control information (menu option "INFO")
This menu is for informational purposes only. No changes can be made.
The menu can be used to retrieve information on the firmware version of the remote control and the signal strength
of the Bluetooth connection to the prosthesis.
1) Press the key.
2) Use the
,
keys to select from the following options:
"RC VERSION: 1.0.0.41.0.0.4" – Firmware version of remote control
"SIGNAL:" – Signal strength of Bluetooth connection (distance from remote control unit to prosthesis)
*: low signal strength/**: medium signal strength/***: good signal strength
3) To leave the menu without saving changes, use the
key.
8.6 Managing prostheses
Connections with up to four different prostheses can be stored in this remote control. However, a prosthesis can
only be connected to one remote control at any given time.
INFORMATION
The connection to the original remote control can no longer be established if the prosthesis is connected to anoth
er remote control. As a result, the message "DEVICE DISCONNECTED" appears in the display of the original
remote control when the connection is established.
INFORMATION
An already existing connection to a prosthesis is terminated when a search is executed for available prostheses.
This connection must be re-established manually after the search is completed. It is not possible to automatically
connect to the prosthesis.
Adding new (prosthesis) connection (menu option "PAIRING")
INFORMATION
The Bluetooth must be activated on the prosthesis prior to establishing a connection.
If Bluetooth is switched off, it can be turned on by turning the prosthesis upside-down or by connecting/discon
necting the battery charger. Bluetooth is then turned on for approx. 2 minutes. The connection must be estab
lished during this period.

1) Use the
,
keys to select the menu option "RC SETTINGS" in the main menu and confirm this with the
key (see fig. 12).
2) Use the ,
keys to select the menu option "PAIRING", then confirm this with the key to start the prosthes
is search (see fig. 13).
→ If a prosthesis was found within the range, its serial number appears in the display (see fig. 14).
3) Compare the serial number that is displayed to the serial number of the prosthesis you want to connect to.
If the serial number 000000000 is displayed (multiple prostheses within the range), use the , ,
enter the serial number of the prosthesis you want to connect to.
4) Press the key.
→ Once the connection has been established, the data are read from the prosthesis (see fig. 15). This pro
cess may take a few minutes. The blue LED will flash during the data transfer process.
5) Use the
,
keys to select one of the four items to which the prosthesis should be saved and confirm this with
the key.
INFORMATION: In addition, a prosthesis (item) that already exists can be overwritten.
→ Data are read from the prosthesis and saved to the selected item.
