Description
Serial Call transfers a call so it automatically returns to the transferring extension. Serial Calling saves
transferring steps between users. For example, a Customer Service Representative (CSR) has a client
on the telephone who needs technical advice. The CSR wants to send the call to Technical Service,
but needs to advise the client of certain costs when Technical Service is done. Rather than transferring
the call back and forth, the CSR can use Serial Call to Technical Service and announce, "I have Ted
on the telephone. I need to talk to him again. Just hang up when you're done and I'll get him back."
S
