TROUBLESHOOTING
This chapter describes errors that may occur while using the D/A converter module, and those troubleshooting.
3.1

Troubleshooting with LEDs

Check the state of the LEDs to narrow down the possible causes of the trouble. This step is the first diagnostics before using
the engineering tool.
The D/A converter module status can be checked using the RUN LED, ERR LED, and ALM LED. The following table lists the
correspondence relation between each LED and the D/A converter module status.

Description
Indicates the operating status of the module.
On: Normal operation
Flashing (1s cycles): In offset/gain setting mode
Flashing (400ms cycles): Selected as a module for the online module change
Off: 5V power supply interrupted, watchdog timer error occurred, or module replacement allowed in the process of the
online module change
Indicates the error status of the module.
On: Error occurred
Off: Normal operation
Indicates the alarm status of the module.
On: Alarm occurred
Off: Normal operation
