List of Alarm Codes

When an alarm occurs during operation, the D/A converter module stores an alarm code in 'Latest alarm code' (Un\G2) of the
buffer memory. Turning on 'Warning output clear request' (YE) allows clearing of the alarm code of 'Latest alarm code'
(Un\G2). The alarm code is also cleared by turning on and off 'Operating condition setting request' (Y9).
The following table lists the alarm codes that may be stored.
 in an alarm code: This symbol indicates the number of the channel where an alarm has occurred. A numerical value of 0 to
3 is used to correspond to CH1 to 4.

3.5 List of Alarm Codes
Description and cause
The warning output alarm (upper limit) has occurred
in CH.
The warning output alarm (lower limit) has occurred
in CH.
'Operating condition setting request' (Y9) was
turned on and off in a state other than wave output
stop.
The range has been switched during analog output
in CH.
Action
■Normal output mode
Set CH Digital value to a value within the setting
range, and turn on and off 'Warning output clear
request' (YE). As a result, the corresponding bit of
Warning output upper flag or Warning output lower
flag, and 'Warning output signal' (XE) turn off. The
setting range is shown below.
• Warning output upper limit value  Setting value
 Warning output lower limit value
■Inter-module synchronization mode
Set CH Synchronization digital value to a value
within the setting range, and turn on and off
'Warning output clear request' (YE). As a result, the
corresponding bit of Warning output upper flag or
Warning output lower flag, and 'Warning output
signal' (XE) turn off. The setting range is shown
below.
• Warning output upper limit value  Setting value
 Warning output lower limit value
■Wave output mode
Set the corresponding area of 'Wave data registry
area' (Un\G10000 to Un\G99999), which is used for
the channel where the warning has occurred, to a
value within the setting range. After that, turn on
and off 'Warning output clear request' (YE). As a
result, the corresponding bit of Warning output
upper flag or Warning output lower flag, and
'Warning output signal' (XE) turn off. The setting
range is shown below.
• Warning output upper limit value  Setting value
 Warning output lower limit value
(Error data can be checked with CH Wave output
warning address monitor.)
Turn on and off 'Operating condition setting request'
(Y9) after wave output stops in all channels.
When switching the range, turn off 'CH Output
enable/disable flag' (Y1 to Y4) for the channel
where the range is to be switched. After that,
change a value of CH Range setting and turn on
and off 'Operating condition setting request' (Y9).
