Check item 3
D/A conversion is disabled. Check the following items.
Check item
Check whether 'CH1 D/A conversion enable/disable setting'
(Un\G500) is set to D/A conversion disable (1).
Check whether Operating condition setting request (Y9) has been
executed after parameter changes.
Check item 4
Analog output is disabled. Check the following item.
Check item
Check whether 'CH1 Output enable/disable flag' (Y1) is off.
Check item 5
Wiring or the offset/gain setting is incorrect. Check the following items.
Check item
Check whether there is any problem with wiring, such as off or
disconnection of analog signal lines.
Check whether the offset/gain setting is correct.
Check item 6
The analog output and output range setting do not match. Check the following items.
Check item
Check whether "Output range setting" of the module parameter is
correct.
When an output range is set in 'CH1 Range setting' (Un\G598)
with a program, check whether the program has any error.
Check whether 'Operating condition setting request' (Y9) has been
executed after parameter changes.

When HOLD of an analog output value is not available

Check item
Is the analog output HOLD/CLEAR function setting correct?
Action
Check 'CH1 D/A conversion enable/disable setting' (Un\G500) using the monitor functions
of the engineering tool ("Device/Buffer Memory Batch Monitor" or "Intelligent Function
Module Monitor"). When 'CH1 D/A conversion enable/disable setting' (Un\G500) is set to
D/A conversion disable (1), change it to D/A conversion enable (0) with the engineering
tool or a program.
Turn on and off 'Operating condition setting request' (Y9) with the engineering tool, and
check that the analog output is performed properly.
If the analog output is performed properly, check the program whether the descriptions of
'Operating condition setting request' (Y9) is correct.
Action
Check the status of 'CH1 Output enable/disable flag' (Y1). If 'CH1 Output enable/disable
flag' (Y1) is off, correct the program.
Action
Check the faulty area by checking the signal line visually or conductively.
If the output range setting is the user range, turn on and off 'Operating condition setting
request' (Y9) and compare CH User range setting offset/gain value (Un\G4012 to
Un\G4019) with the range reference table.
If the stored values are not desired offset/gain values, configure the offset/gain setting
again.
For the range reference table, refer to the following.

Action
Check "Output range setting" of the module parameter and configure the setting again if
the setting is incorrect.
Check 'CH1 Range setting' (Un\G598) using the monitor functions of the engineering tool
("Device/Buffer Memory Batch Monitor" or "Intelligent Function Module Monitor"). If the
set value is incorrect, correct the value with the engineering tool or a program.
Turn on and off 'Operating condition setting request' (Y9) with the engineering tool, and
check that the analog output is performed properly.
If the analog output is performed properly, check the program whether the descriptions of
'Operating condition setting request' (Y9) is correct.
Action
Check 'CH1 HOLD/CLEAR function setting monitor' (Un\G431) using the monitor
functions of the engineering tool ("Device/Buffer Memory Batch Monitor" or "Intelligent
Function Module Monitor"). If the setting is incorrect, set "Analog output HOLD/CLEAR
setting" to "HOLD" in the module parameter, and turn off and on the programmable
controller power supply or reset the CPU module.
