When the refresh is enabled, the values of the refresh target are enabled at the refresh timing set with the
engineering tool. At this time, the buffer memory areas are overwritten with the values of the refresh target. To
change a value in the refresh target buffer memory area, create a program to change the value in the module
label and the device of the refresh source.

Refresh processing time

The refresh processing time [s] is an element of the scan time of the CPU module. For details on the scan time, refer to the
following.

The refresh processing time [s], which is taken for refresh settings, is given by:
• Refresh processing time [s] = Refresh read time (time for transferring refresh data to the CPU module) + Refresh write
time (time for transferring refresh data to the intelligent function module)
According to the setting of "Target", the refresh read time and the refresh write time vary.
When "Target" is a module label or a refresh data register (RD)
The following table lists the refresh read time and the refresh write time when the RCPU is used.
