Certification

The safety function of the SINAMICS V90 PN drive system meets the following
requirements:
● Category 3 according to ISO 13849-1:2015
● Performance Level (PL) d to ISO 13849-1:2015
● Safety integrity level 2 (SIL 2) to IEC 61508
In addition, the safety function of SINAMICS V90 PN has been certified by independent
institutes. An up-to-date list of certified components is available on request from your local
Siemens office.
