Motor Fusing

Most drive modules have their own power fuse. See Sections 2.2.5. through 2.2.8. for fuse
locations on the specific drive modules. To replace a drive module fuse, follow these
steps.
To minimize the risk of electrical shock and bodily injury, ensure that all electrical
power switches are in the off position and disconnect main power.
•
Turn off the DR500 power switch
•
Loosen the two screws on the cover plate of the drive module securing it to
the front of the chassis, refer to Figure 2-14
•
Remove the drive module from the DR500, refer to Figure 2-14
•
Check for proper fuse size and type, and replace the fuse on the drive
module.
