REMOVE MAJOR COMPONENTS

2. Remove the Z-bend of the throttle cable from the
hole in the carburetor throttle lever
.
NOTE: The Z-bend is located in the third hole from
the top of the throttle lever.
3. Remove the carburetor and the two (2) gaskets.
Dicard the gaskets.
4. Remove the fuel line from the carburetor fuel inlet
fitting.
5. Remove the fuel line from the fuel outlet fitting on
carburetor (to primer bulb).
6. Remove the throttle cable from the carburetor
mount insulator.
Remove Primer Bulb
1. Remove the fuel lines from the fittings on the
primer bulb.
2. Squeeze the mounting tabs on the back of the
bulb and pull the bulb out from the front of the
air filter base.

Inspect the check valves in the primer bulb for fuel
leakage. To do this inspection, place your finger
over the long fitting on the back of the primer
.
bulb and press the front of the bulb. If the bulb
collapses and air comes out through the short fit
ting, replace the primer bulb.
Inspect the primer bulb for flexibility and cuts or
tears. Replace the primer bulb if necessary
