2. Separate the two halves of the handle by prying
the two halves apart with a screwdriver at the
rear of the handle, next to the screw boss
.
NOTE: The anti-vibration isolator is wedged into the
handle, making removal of the halves difficult.

Remove Lower Handle
-
1.
Remove the retainer screw, which holds the
switch and throttle trigger assembly
in the han-
dle. The trigger can now be removed from the
cable and the switch lifted off the two pins lo-
cated in the lower handle.

Remove the throttle cable and lead wires from
the lower handle.

REMOVE MAJOR COMPONENTS

Press down on the lower handle at the rear, near
the isolator. This will dislodge the isolator from
the lower handle, allowing the handle to be re-
.
moved.

NOTE: If you have difficulty removing the lower
handle slightly loosen the screws on the fuel tank
bracket and pull the fuel tank and bracket away from
the lower handle.
NOTE: When removing the lower handle note
the location of the anti-rotation cap screw, lead wires
and throttle cable location.
