OPMERKING2 Het is mogelijk dat deze richtlijnen niet gelden in alle situaties. De elektromagnetische propagatie wordt
beïnvloed door absorptie en weerkaatsing van structuren, voorwerpen en mensen.
Veldsterktes van vaste zenders, zoals basisstations voor radiotelefonen (mobiel/draadloos) en landmobiele radio's,
amateurradio, AM en FM radio-uitzending en tv-uitzending, kunnen theoretisch niet nauwkeurig worden voorspeld. Om
de elektromagnetische omgeving door vaste RF-zenders te beoordelen, moet een elektromagnetisch locatieonderzoek
worden overwogen. Als de gemeten veldsterkte op de locatie waar de thermometer wordt gebruikt het geldende RF-
nalevingsniveau overschrijdt, moet er worden nagezien dat het apparaat normaal werkt. Als er abnormale prestaties
worden waargenomen, kunnen bijkomende maatregelen nodig zijn zoals het heroriënteren of herpositioneren van het
apparaat.
