This instrument is a digital thennometer for use with any
k-type thermocople as temperature sensor. Ternperatue
indication follows the National Bureau of Standards and IEC584
temperature I voltage tables for K-type thennoaq>les.
1. LCD Display: 3 1/2 digits with a maximum
reading up 1D 1999, indication of Minus Sign ( - ),
Data Hold (HOU>), Max Hold (MAX), (T1),(T2),
("C), ("F) and Low Battery (
(T1-T2), D)
2. ON/OFF button
3. MAX button
4. HOLD button: Press the HOLD button to select
the DATA HOLD mode. Press the HOU> button
again to cancel DATA HOLD mode. The
thennometer will resume taking measurements.
5. TI: Thermocouple Input Connector.
&.. T2: Thermocouple Input Connector.
7. "C "F button: The "C "F button switches between

Celsius ("C) and Fatvenheit ("F).
8. T1-T2 button: Use the T1-T2 button to select differential
temperature measurement. The thermometer will measure
the temperature of T1 and T2 and display the difference
(T1 minus T2). To use this feature, you must connect two
thermocouples 1D the thermometer.
9. T1/T2 button: The T1/T2 button can select thermocouple T1
as the Input or thermocouple T2 as the input.
10. OFFSET: The OFFSET CONTROL allows you to optimize

measurement accuracy for a particular thermocouple at a
particular temperature.
11. OUTPUT: OUTPUT from standard 3 pole 3.5mm socket (Fig 1).
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1.POWER
Pressing the ON/OFF button turns the thermometer ON or OFF.
2.CONNECTING ntE THERMOCOUPLES
The thermometer Is used with one or two thermocouples.
The thermocouples plug Into the T1 and T2 input connectors.
3.SELECTING ntE TEMPERATURE SCALE
Reading Is displayed In either Celsius ("C} or
Fahrenheit ("F). To change the temperature scale,
press the "C "F button.
