Troubleshooting

Fault – Cause – Remedy
The following table lists faults, possible causes, and corresponding remedies.
Causes and remedies must be worked through in the order listed until the fault has
been resolved.
If the remedies provided here do not correct the fault, contact DrägerService.
Fault
LED lights do not
illuminate
Irradiance is too low
The message USB error
is displayed on the
phototherapy report
screen.
The message No export
during running therapy.
is displayed on the
phototherapy report
screen.
The message ERR is
displayed on the
radiometer screen.
The trolley does not
maintain set height.
The spring arm does not
maintain set position.

Cause
Loose power cable
connection
Failed LEDs
Light is too far from patient Adjust height of light.
Irradiance setting is too
low.
The LEDs are at the limit
of their useful life.
Radiometer reading error. Correct position of sensor
An export of a
phototherapy report was
attempted with no USB
flash drive connected.
An export of a
phototherapy report was
attempted during active
therapy.
The value is out of range.
This could happen if the
radiometer is held too
close to the LEDs.
The radiometer is faulty.
The tightening knob on the
trolley is not tightened
sufficiently.
The joints of the spring
arm are loose.
Troubleshooting
Remedy
Ensure the power cable is
connected to the
phototherapy light and
mains power.
Replace LED panel. Use
only Dräger spare parts;
contact DrägerService.
Increase irradiance
setting.
Replace LED panel. Use
only Dräger spare parts;
contact DrägerService.
and retry reading.
Connect a USB flash drive
to the phototherapy light,
and attempt the export
again.
Stop therapy via the Reset
button on the
phototherapy screen, and
attempt the export again.
Position the radiometer
closer to the patient, and
attempt the reading again.
Attempt the reading again.
If the message persists,
contact DrägerService.
Tighten the knob on the
trolley until secure.
Tighten the joints on the
spring arm.
