Installing Logic Analyzer Cards and Probes
The 16900 series of Logic Analysis systems with serial number of MY51420101 or higher
N O T E
require the Agilent Logic Analyzer software version 5.20 or later. These systems have the
Windows 7 operating system installed.

To connect probes

Probing is the key to effective and efficient use of logic analyzers. Agilent
Technologies offers a wide variety of probing accessories that support
general- purpose and application- specific measurement needs. We provide
reliable, electrically and mechanically unobtrusive probes that make it easy
to connect your Agilent logic analyzer to your system under test. For more

To connect and set up a probe, follow the instructions in the User's Guide
that came with the probe.

To replace thumb screws on measurement modules

If you ordered measurement modules with your logic analysis system, they
will have the proper thumb screws and you can skip this procedure.
If you are using a measurement module from a 16700 Series logic analysis
system, you may need to replace the thumb screws. The rigid screws on
these modules are not compatible with the new ejector levers.
