The barcode reader option is installed using the following procedure:
1. Switch the instrument OFF.
2. Remove the main power cable from the socket.
3. Remove the instrument top cover.
4. Remove the front cover of the instrument.
5. Install the mirror plate by attaching the two screws (M 3x8 Plastite) as shown
in the following picture:
6. Install the barcode board and the barcode laser by attaching the screws and
connecting the flex cable of the laser to the barcode board at ST1.
