11.5 Cleaning the Instrument

If any liquid is spilled in the instrument, it should be immediately removed to
prevent liquid running into the optical system. If any liquid is spilled in the
instrument, it may cause a loss of accuracy or the error message Lamp Low due
to one or more of the diode lenses not being clean. Therefore contact the service
to clean and check the instrument.
Clean the outside of the device only with a dry or moist cloth. If very dirty, clean it
with a cloth moistened with a maximum of 70% ethanol or isopropanol. Then wipe
dry with a lint-free cloth.
The touch panel is very delicate. So clean and treat it very gently. Clean the
display only with a dry or moist cloth. If very dirty, clean with a cloth moistened
with a maximum of 70% ethanol or mild detergent solution. Then wipe dry with a
lint-free cloth.
