Sleep Rules
If no jobs are run for a certain period of time, automatically reset settings and return to
the default setting. Select to use Auto Panel Reset or not.
Value: Off, On
For setting the time until the panel is automatically reset, refer to the following:
Panel Reset Timer (page 15-7)
If you select [On] for Auto Panel Reset, set the amount of time to wait before Auto
Panel Reset.
Value: 5 to 495 seconds (in 5 seconds increments)
NOTE
This function is displayed when [Auto Panel Reset] is set to [On].
Set amount of time before entering Sleep.
Value: 1 to 120 minutes (1 minute increments)
Select whether to use the Sleep mode for the following functions individually:
• Extended Function
Value: Off, On
NOTE
• If the sleep condition is not turned off, the ID card cannot be recognized.
• This function will not be displayed when the Fiery controller is installed.
Select the sleep level.
Set the Energy Saver mode to reduce power consumption even more than normal
Sleep mode.
Value: Quick Recovery, Energy Saver
NOTE
This function will not be displayed when the Fiery controller is installed.
Select whether to use the Energy Saver mode for the following functions individually:
• Network
• USB Cable
• Extended Function
Value: Off, On
NOTE
When the machine enters Energy Saver sleep mode, the machine will not wake up
from sleep mode even if print data is received from a computer connected by USB
cable.
