Before Operating

Operate the machine only after reading and
understanding the contents of this manual.
Never allow children to operate the machine.
Never allow other adults to operate the machine
without first reading and understanding the
Operator's Manual. Only trained and authorized
persons should operate this machine. Make sure
that all operators are physically and mentally
capable of operating the machine.
This machine is designed to carry the operator
and 1 passenger in the seat provided by the
manufacturer. Never carry any additional
passengers on the machine.
Never operate the machine while you are ill, tired,
or under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Use the seat belt when operating the machine and
be certain that it can be released quickly in the
event of an emergency.
Become familiar with the controls and know how
to shut off the engine quickly.
Keep all shields, safety devices, and decals
in place. If a shield, safety device, or decal is
malfunctioning, illegible, or damaged, repair or
replace it before operating the machine.
Wear appropriate clothing; including safety
glasses, long pants, substantial slip-resistant
footwear or rubber boots, and gloves. Do not wear
jewelry or loose clothing. Tie back long hair.
Keep bystanders away from the areas of operation.
Avoid driving when it is dark, especially in
unfamiliar areas. If you must drive when it is dark,
be sure to drive cautiously and use the headlights.
Before operating the machine, always check all
parts of the machine and any attachments. If
something is wrong, stop using the machine.
Make sure that the problem is corrected before the
machine or attachment is operated again.
Make sure the operator and passenger area is
clean and free from chemical residue and debris
buildup.
Ensure that all fluid line connectors are tight and
all hoses are in good condition before applying
pressure to the system.
Note:
Do not use the machine if it is leaking or
damaged.
Since fuel is highly flammable, handle it carefully.
– Use an approved fuel container.
– Do not remove the cap from the fuel tank when
the engine is hot or running. Allow the engine
to cool before fueling the machine.
– Do not smoke while handling fuel.
– Fill the fuel tank of the machine outdoors.
