Blink Sequence Procedure

A fault is always displayed cyclically with three blink sequences.
1. The first blink sequence indicates the group number.
The starting point in identifying the fault is the group number, behind
which the error groups are hidden. The number of blink pulses indicates
the specific error group.
Example:
Group number 1: Group of S-BUS errors.
2. After a short pause, the second blink sequence appears and indicates
the error code. The number of blink pulses indicates the exact error
code that describes the type of fault.
Example:
Error code 5: S-BUS terminator not attached to last I/O module.
3. After another pause, the third blink sequence appears displaying the
error argument. The number of blink pulses indicates the error argument
that delivers the supplementary brief error description, e.g. on which of
the IndraControl S67 components there is a fault.
Example:
Entry 0 ... 63: Indicates on which connected I/O modules this fault has
occurred. For example, if a 5 is displayed by blink code, then the fault
has occurred on the 5th I/O module (the "0" indicates the digital inputs
of the field bus coupler).
Group number, error code and error argument are displayed as blink codes
to be converted into numbers. The blink code can display numbers with hun‐
dreds, tens or digits. A zero is always expressed in four cycles of 20 Hz and
preceding zeros are ignored.
The following tables outline the temporal blink code procedure. If the hun‐
dreds or tens digit is omitted in the group number, error code or error argu‐
ment, the subsequent pause is not outputted, instead the next sequence is
initiated (shown in bold in the following table).
