The field bus coupler can obtain its IP address dynamically (from a server) or
it can be configured with a static (fixed) IP address.
The dynamic assignment of the IP address can be carried out via the BootP
or DHCP protocol in the web-based management. Dynamically assigned IP
addresses are not saved however.

Turn on the power supply. The field bus coupler and all connected I/O mod‐
ules are ready for operation after the initialization phase.
