: Remove the complete
tensioner (1).

: Remove the cover (1) and draw
the tensioning lever (2) off the
spring of the tensioner.
– Examine the parts and replace
them if necessary.
: Insert the hook of the tensioner in
the hole (arrow) in the lever.
– Fit the cover.

: Fit the complete tensioner (1).
– Insert the fastening screws and
tighten them down securely.

– Tightening torques, b 3.6

Note:

The tensioner must be in its pre-
tensioned position before installing
the bearing with guard.
– Turn the hexagon of the
tensioner as far as possible
anticlockwise to pre-tension the
tensioner.

Clutch

Removal
– Remove the ribbed V-belt,
see b 5.3
– Remove the belt pulley and
clutch drum, see b 5.5

: Unscrew the clutch (1) from the
crankshaft stub with size 21
insert 5910 893 5616.
Note:
The clutch has a left-hand thread.

– Remove the cover washer (1)
from the crankshaft stub and
clean it if necessary.
