Belt pulley / clutch drum

– Remove the ribbed V-belt,

see b 5.3

– Remove the starter cup,
see b 5.4
: Draw the belt pulley (1) off the
crankshaft stub.
: Examine the clutch drum, it must
not be scored or heavily worn.
Replace the belt pulley if
necessary.
: Remove the circlip (1).
TS 700, TS 800
: Drive out the ball bearing with the
drift pin (1) 4224 893 7200.

: Draw the ring (1) off the
crankshaft stub.
– Reassemble parts in reverse
order.

Note:
Drive the ball bearing in as far as
possible with the drift pin (1)
4224 893 7200.

Tensioner

Note:
Do not use the assembly stand
5910 890 3100 for the following
work. Lay the machine on a suitable
level surface to carry out the work.
– Remove the starter cover,
see b 5.4

– Remove bearing with guard,

b 5.1
: Turn the hexagon of the
tensioner 1/8 of a turn clockwise
until the hexagon is turned further
by the spring.
Note:
As the spring may cause the
hexagon with wrench to turn
abruptly, it is important to hold the
wrench securely and to relax the
spring slowly.

: Remove the screws securing the
tensioner (arrows).
