Configuring Layer 3 remote port mirroring

Layer 3 remote port mirroring configuration task list

To configure Layer 3 remote port mirroring, you must create a local mirroring group on the source device
as well as on the destination device, and configure source ports/CPUs and the monitor port for each
mirroring group. The source and destination devices are connected by a tunnel. If an intermediate device
exists, configure a unicast routing protocol on the intermediate device to make sure that the source device
can reach the destination device at Layer 3.
On the source device, you must configure the ports/CPUs you want to monitor as the source
ports/CPUs, and configure the tunnel interface as the monitor port.
On the destination device, you must configure the physical port corresponding to the tunnel
interface as the source port, and configure the port that connects the data monitoring device as the
monitor port.
