4-5 Connecting I/O Terminal Block

WARNING

4-5-1 Factory default wiring

The following terminals are connected by short bars at the factory default. Remove these short bars when you connect
them to an external device.
In addition, IN COM.1 and OUT COM.1 are connected to the internal power terminal via NPN connection with shipment. For
wiring by PNP connection or external power supply, remove the short bar and wire them again.

*1 : For X11, you can select its behavior from LASER STOP 1 IN or LASER STOP 2 IN by the setting of LASER MARKER
NAVI smart. (Initial setting: LASER STOP 2 IN)
• Do not short-circuit 24V OUT (X1, Y3) and 0V OUT (X3, Y1). Also, do not short-circuit IN COM. 1 (X2) and OUT COM.2
(Y2, X12). Starting the laser marker with these terminals short-circuited will cause the laser marker to malfunction.
• The following terminals of the I/O terminal block are the common terminals connected internally.
• X1 and Y3: 24V OUT
• X3 and Y1: 0V OUT
• Y2 and X12: OUT COM. 1

• Make sure that the power is turned OFF at wiring.
