7-2-7 Z-axis adjustment module

* Note that this module is not attached to models with "-L" in the model code.
The Z-axis adjustment module controls the focal length optically.
„ Effect from deterioration
The degradation in the movable parts may affect the control over focal length, resulting in ununiformity in marking density.
„ Replacement interval
• Deterioration in quality of marking and processing (streaking and density reduction of the marking, incomplete
processing) is observed.
• Alarm indicating an error in the Z-axis adjustment module occurred.
• Galvano scanner has been used for almost five years.*

7-2-8 Internal shutter

The internal shutter is opened and closed by the rotary solenoid to shut off the path of laser beam.
„ Effect from deterioration
When the rotation torque of the rotary solenoid declines, the opening/closing speed of the internal shutter is decreased or
the shutter may not work. In this case, an error "Internal shutter failure" occurs in the laser marker and marking cannot be
performed.
„ Replacement interval
• Total number of opening/closing operations has exceeded two million.
• Alarm for internal shutter error occurred.
„ How to confirm the number of opening/closing operations
Display "Runtime data" panel of the "Maintenance" screen of Laser Marker
NAVI smart, and check the number of shutter open/close operations.
„ Replacement method
