Building a Part from Your CMB File

After Status has sent a .cmb file, the panel displays Ready to
Build and your file's name.

To build a part:

Press Start Model. The system will warm up to correct build
temperatures. The panel displays Finding Home, meaning the
head is currently finding the top of the plastic modeling base on
which the part is to be built. After finding its starting point, Prodigy
Plus begins building the part.

To read the display panel while building:

The top display panel shows machine-status messages on the first
two lines (see
Figure

Machine Chamber Light

When a part is building, the chamber light activates and stays on
for 30 minutes. You can manually control the light by pressing
Lights On. The light remains on for five minutes.
To turn the lights on continuously until the power is cycled, you
must be in the Idle or Ready to Build mode. Press Maintenance
and then press Next until Setup Maintenance is displayed.
