8. Press Load. The panel then displays Loading. After the
material loads, the panel displays Material Loaded.
You might get the message, Model cartridge not
replaced or invalid. This occurs if you do not insert
the new cartridges within 30 seconds. In this case the
cartridge will not lock into its slot. You must press the
Retry button before continuing the process.
9. Watch the appropriate extrusion tip (see
if material extrudes (purges) after loading. The panel will
then display Did material purge?

10. Press Yes or No as appropriate — or press Purge Again if
you're unsure which to choose.
• Pressing No returns the machine to the Load
Material state.
• Pressing Yes returns the machine to the Ready to
Build state.
If the display shows Load Failed, press Retry. If load
fails again, remove the cartridges, snip the material at an
angle (see
