The required DALI device is selected by a simple mouse click. This is clearly
indicated when the screen symbol (lamp) lights up and the device is
switched on. The brightness at switching on can be set as the value 0 (off) to
254 (max. brightness) in the "Options" parameter window of the software
tool.
Every DALI device detected is displayed by a lamp symbol.
A DALI device can be selected with a simple mouse click. This device
switches on with the brightness value set in the "Options" parameter window.
At the same time the lamp symbol on the monitor is replaced by a lit lamp
symbol.
If a DALI device is selected, the lamp symbol changes to a lit
lamp symbol.
The next DALI device can be selected by another click with the mouse or by
using the "mouse wheel". The newly selected device is switched on and the
symbol changes to a lit lamp. The device selected beforehand switches off
and reverts to the deselected brightness level.
A change in the DALI address is achieved by simply moving the lamp
symbol. Select the device with the mouse and drag it to the new location
while holding down the left mouse button. If the "Detect Ballasts" function
has been activated beforehand, a red X will appear at the original address
location as the ballast has disappeared. With renewed ballast detection, the
new assignment/addressing is stored as a reference state.
If a device is to be moved to an address which is occupied by another
device, the address of both devices will be exchanged.
Lamp faults or missing ballasts are displayed in the visualisation mode with
symbols. The DALI devices on the DG/S 1.1 are monitored continuously. If
the fault status changes it is displayed directly in the software tool. A status
change can take up to 90 seconds depending on the number of connected
DALI devices.
The configuration mode should be deactivated under "Extras" in order to
return to the configuration mode.
The device which was last activated remains active when you exit
configuration mode. This can be avoided if you change to another channel
beforehand or change to the "Options" parameter window. No device is
selected beforehand in both cases. If the configuration mode or even the
entire DGS11 Software Tool is terminated, all devices are switched off.
