Functional description
(adjustable "Time duration for progressing through the dimming range
0...100%") is used independently of the brightness setting. This has the
effect that the switch ON/OFF value is not achieved at the same time, but
there are no unnecessary long time delays until the lamp switches, for
example, from 30% brightness to the OFF state.
The setting "individual device adjustment" has the effect that the
parameterisation of the individual sample is still valid for this DALI sample, if
a central control received.
Dim period to reach turn on brightness (Object Set Brightness Value)
Option:
Immediate
0.7 s
2 s
...
90 s
individual device adjustment
This parameter defines the time which a dimming process requires from 0 %
to the switch ON value. This dimming time only affects dimming commands
which are received via the "Set Brightness Value" communication object.
The setting "individual device adjustment" has the effect that the
parameterisation of the individual sample is still valid for this DALI sample, if
a central control received.
Dimming speed, time for 0-100% (Object Relative Dimming)
Option:
0.7 s
...
8 s
...
90 s
individual device adjustment
This parameter defines the time which a dimming process requires from
0...100%. This dimming time only affects dimming commands which were
received by the channel communication object "Relative Dimming".
The following must be observed when selecting the dimming
times: Depending on the lighting equipment involved, stepwise
dimming can occur with fast dimming speeds and low dimming
times. This is due to the fact that dimming steps are defined in
the standard in order to achieve a logarithmic dimming curve
which appears as a linear response to the human eye.
With the central function, the defined "Minimal brightness value" and
"Maximum brightness value" in the Devices parameter window are retained.
If the minimum dimming value is less than the possible physical dimming
value of the DALI equipment, this device is automatically set to the lowest
possible physical dimming value (minimum physical brightness).
Devices and channels where "Burn in Lamps" is active continue to be
operated independently of the central dimming value commands of just 0 %
(off) or 100%.
The setting "individual device adjustment" has the effect that the
parameterisation of the individual sample is still valid for this DALI sample, if
a central control received.
