Functional description
This type of addressing can be viewed as a switch which has 64 switch
positions. An individual switch position is selected by the addressing object.
Various telegrams which trigger a function can be sent via this connection.
This is possible until another device is selected using an addressing
command (see following illustration).

As long as the device is selected, it can be directly controlled or monitored
with just one communication object.
The selected device stays selected after a download or operating voltage
failure and recovery, as well as when the test mode is terminated. No device
is selected after an EIB / KNX bus voltage recovery.
