Functional description
The DALI-Gateway will not send a telegram until a "1"
telegram is received via the communication object "Telegr.
Communication receive".
Time between two response telegrams switch/brightness value
[0..255s]
Option:
0
1
2
...
255
With this parameter, you define the time intervals at which the status
messages of the switching state and the brightness value are sent. The
bus load can be limited here. The transmission delay relates exclusively
to the switching and brightness status messages.
The set time may vary by one second the first time it is sent.
With the option "0" the status messages are sent as soon as possible on
the EIB / KNX.
The sending of the status messages relating to the switching state and
the brightness can be enabled for each device of the main channel (A)
with the corresponding device number in the parameter window "Devices
Channel A".
Lamp burn-in period in hours (1..255)
Option:
1...100...255 (in hours)
The continuous dimming of lamps which are not burned in can mean that
the maximum defined brightness of the lamp may not be achieved and
the required brightness value in the room cannot be set.
In order to guarantee the maximum lamp life and correct function of the
ballast in the dimmed state, some lamps (vapour filled) must be operated
for a certain number of hours at 100 % brightness during initial operation
before they can be permanently dimmed.
If a telegram with the value "1" is received via the communication object
"Lamp burn-in", all devices on the channel may only be operated with 0 %
(off) or 100 % brightness for the burn-in time set for this parameter. This
applies independently of the other dimming, on/off and lightscene
brightness values which have been set. The burn-in time has priority over
all other settings. After the burn-in time has elapsed or the function is
deactivated (telegram value of the communication object "Lamp burn-in"
equal to "0"), the channel can be dimmed and programmed lightscenes
can be accessed.
