Camera Settings
Available in Chemi, UV
and Vis Modes
Note Camera Settings are only available with the live image display
Focus Icon for performing minimal focusing adjustments that may be needed as
varying object depths change.
Note An Imaging Reference Target is supplied with the imager. Use this target in Vis
mode when performing camera focusing.
Digital Zoom Icon for increasing the camera zoom level. Slider bars appear after
increasing the zoom level to center the image acquisition area. Image acquisition
with Digital Zoom results in capture of the zoomed image.
Resolution/Sensitivity Icon for adjusting the camera image sensor's degree of
response to light; the number of camera pixels used to capture an image. To
enhance detection sensitivity, the pixels, or light capturing units of the CCD chip, can
be combined or binned. The process of binning bundles multiple pixels, which
effectively increases the amount of light collected. Figure 3-1illustrates the binning
process using 7 m pixels as examples for 1×1, 2×2 and 3×3 binning settings.
