IMPORTANT Allow the imager to equilibrate for 20-30 minutes after each initial
hard power up. This ensures that the camera is optimally cooled before image
acquisition.
To perform the Hard Start Up procedure:
1. Turn on the hard power switch located at the bottom of the rear imager panel.
The hard power switch provides power to all of the imager components.
2. Turn on the soft power switch on the front of the imager. This switch activates
the internal computer, touchscreen and thermoelectric camera cooler.
3. The computer boots up.
4. The user is prompted to enter the current date, time and time zone. Upon
completion, the screen automatically moves to the default Chemi acquire
screen.
