Imager Settings

Upon powering up the imager, the
ECL Imager welcome screen is displayed.

Note When performing the Hard Start Up procedure, the thermoelectric camera
cooler is NOT at the ideal temperature of -25°C. After powering up the imager, allow
10-30 minutes for the camera to cool to the optimal temperature.

Live Camera

Enabling the Live Camera button displays the streaming image from the camera and
allows access to Camera Settings (Focus, Aperture, Resolution/Sensitivity, Filter
and Digital Zoom). Disabling the Live Camera button displays previously acquired
images. Opening the imager door enables Live Camera and turns on the epi-white
lights. Refresh rate of live image display depends on the binning setting selected in
Resolution/Sensitivity (greater resolution requires more time to display).
Live Camera in
Selection of Live Camera in Chemi mode turns on the epi-white lights. ChemiV
Chemi mode
images are captured and saved to the Gallery; however, they are not displayed in the
image tab if Live Camera is not enabled before image acquisition in Chemi mode.
