*WIPER, ERRATIC OPERATION IN INTERMITTENT SPEEDS —
TEST
4 Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the Windshield Wiper Motor harness connector.
Turn the ignition on.
With the DRBIII in Inputs/Outputs, monitor the wiper park switch state.
Connect one end of a jumper wire to the Wiper Park Switch Sense circuit at the
Windshield Wiper Motor harness connector.
While observing the DRBIII , hold the other end to ground for several seconds.
Did wiper park switch input change state when connected to ground then discon-
nected from ground?
Yes → Replace the Wiper Motor.
→ Replace the Body Control Module.
