Vtss Does Not Trip With Trunk Knockout Switch - Chrysler Concorde 2004 Service Manual

Symptom:

*VTSS DOES NOT TRIP WITH TRUNK KNOCKOUT SWITCH

DECKLID SECURITY SWITCH SENSE CIRCUIT SHORT TO GROUND
BCM -- NO ALARM FROM TRUNK KNOCKOUT SWITCH
TEST
1 Disconnect the BCM C4 harness connector.
Disconnect the Trunk Knockout Switch harness connector.
Using a 12-volt test light connected to 12-volts, check the Decklid Security Switch
Sense circuit.
Does the test light illuminate?
Yes → Repair the Decklid Security Switch Sense circuit for a short to
→ Replace and program the Body Control Module.
