"EXT TRIG" input channel. Ex ternal trigger signal
connects to "EXT TRIG" input terminal is used for EXT
and EXT/5 trigger source selection. When selecting EXT
as trigger source, the external trigger levels voltage range
is limited to -3V and +3V. Whereas, if EXT/5 is selected
as trigger source, external trigger level voltage range
can be expanded to -15V-+15V. (EXT/5 is only available
for 72-2650)
■AC line trigger: use AC line power as trigger source.
This can be significant application to observe the signals
correlated to AC line power for applications in lighting
equipment and power supply equipment R&D development.
2. Trigger mode: deciding the behavioural pattern of DSO
under no trigger event conditions. Three trigger modes
are provided for DSO: auto, normal and single.
■Auto trigger: Set to automatic trigger mode. The DSO
will continuously perform data acquisition without
triggering signal. When there is trigger signal, DSO will
automatically synchronise with the trigger signal.
Attention: when scanning, the waveform is set as 50ms/div
or slower time base, no trigger signal is allowed under "auto
trigger" mode.
■Normal trigger: Set to normal trigger mode. The DSO
will only perform data acquisition when trigger
conditions are satisfied. When the trigger condition is
not satisfied, DSO stops data collection.
■Single trigger: Set to single trigger mode. The DSO
will only perform one cycle of data acquisition when
trigger conditions are satisfied. When the trigger condition
is not satisfied, DSO stops data collection.

2.4 Set the Acquire System

The user can change the data acquisition setting of the
DSO by pressing the ACQUIRE button as shown in the
