By changing the acquisition setting of the DSO, the user
can observe the input signal in a different manner. The
example below is a noise waveform acquired by different
acquisition setting of the 72-2650/72-10510/72-8225A /
72-8705A/72-8710A DSO.
Figure 2-18 shows the original signal using sampling
acquisition, the user can see that the waveform display is
very noisy.
Figure 2-19 shows the same signal with average
acquisition of a 32 number, please observe that the
waveform display becomes much smoother.
