Depending on the function mode use, 2, 4, 6 or 8 channels
can be grouped together to form a channel bundle.
Within a channel bundle, the input and qualification bits be­
have as follows:
Input bits
0 or 1 (dependent upon function
mode and input signal)

If channel-wise passivation is not enabled, when a fault is
detected, all input data bits are set to 0.
