Lifting

Forklift Use in Cold-Storage Rooms.

A truck specifically equipped for cold-storage
rooms must be used when working at temper-
atures below +5°C.
Forklifts equipped for working in cold climates
and cold-storage rooms may be used at a
minimum temperature of -5°C for continuous
service in cold-storage rooms and at -32°C
for non-continuous service in cold-storage
rooms.
CAUTION
The forklift must always be turned off and parked
outside the cold area/cold-storage room.

4 Fork lifting button
5 Horn button
6 Drive control throttle
7 Anti-crush button
8 Drive control throttle
9 Straddle lowering button (optional)
WARNING
Risk of injury!
The safety instructions must be strictly adhered to.
It is strictly forbidden to touch or stand on moving
parts (e.g. lifting device, pushing devices, work
installations, load lifting devices).
Fork lifting
– Press the button (4).

CAUTION
If the truck has been working in environments at
temperatures below -5°C and it is taken outside the
cold-storage room, let it stand either for a sufficien-
tly long time to allow evaporation of any condensa-
tion (at least 30 minutes) or a sufficiently short time
to prevent the formation of any condensation (less
than 10 minutes).
Avoid the formation of ice on the forklift.
CAUTION
NEVER drive the truck into the cold-storage room
when condensation has formed on it
