The intermediate base can be flipped over to be used at two differ-
ent heights:
Upper position (in the image at the top): Permitted incubation
of Erlenmeyer flasks up to 2 L of volume on the shaker (de-
pending on the height of the sealing plug).
Lower position (in the image at the bottom): Permitted incuba-
tion of Erlenmeyer flasks up to 1 L of volume on the shaker
(depending on the height of the sealing plug).
ATTENTION
The inserted intermediate base can change the climate condi-
tions in the incubation chamber as it hinders air circulation. To
prevent damage to cultures, the climate above and beneath the
intermediate base should be checked regularly and, if neces-
sary, monitored using mobile sensors.
To use the intermediate base, proceed as follows:
1.
Open the door to the incubation chamber.
2.
Diagonally insert the intermediate base in its desired orienta-
tion into the incubation chamber and place it on the cams
moulded into the sides of the incubation chamber.
