8 Rectifying Faults

8.1 Alarm Messages and their Meanings

Alarm message
Possible cause
The parameter has recently
been changed, and the re-
quired setpoint has not yet
been reached.
The door is not fully closed.
The ambient temperature
does not meet the require-
ments.
Cooling fins dusty.

The following section describes possible reasons for faults and
how to resolve them.
If you encounter a fault that cannot be resolved by following the
instructions below, please contact your nearest Infors representa-
tive. For service contact details, see page 2.
An alarm is triggered whenever a parameter fails to reach its set-
point within a defined period of time. Alarms are indicated visually
and acoustically.
If a parameter-related alarm occurs, the text Hi or Lo will be dis-
played in alternation with the actual value of the parameter. Alarms
are reset automatically as soon as the actual value moves back
into the target range.
INFORMATION
An alarm is only triggered if the value of the parameter does not
change for a certain period of time. If there is a fluctuation, the
counter for triggering the alarm is reset.
The following alarm messages may occur:
Meaning
Temperature is too low (actual value < setpoint - 1.5°C).
Measures
No action required. The alarm message will dis-
appear as soon as the setpoint is reached.
Close door completely.
Check the ambient temperature on the equip-
ment and adjust if necessary.
Clean the cooling fins.
