6.2.3 Establishing the Power Supply

Two different versions of the equipment are available for different
mains voltages:
230 V 50/60 Hz

115 V 60 Hz

Prior to connecting the power supply, check whether the voltage
value on the identification plate matches the local mains voltage. If
the specified voltage values differ, do not connect the equipment
under any circumstances but contact the manufacturer immedi-
ately.
INFORMATION
The equipment may only be connected to a properly installed
earthed socket (single phase, constant power supply).
Only use the power cable provided. If the power cable becomes
defective, replace it with a power cable of the same type.
To establish the power supply of the equipment, proceed as fol-
lows:
1. Ensure that the main switch of the equipment in position 0.
2. Connect the power cable provided to the mains connection on
the equipment.
3. Connect the power cable to the building's power supply.
4. Ensure that der mains connection is freely accessible at all
times.
