Ecotron - Incubation Shaker
Operation

7.2.1 Loading and Unloading the Equipment

Procedure
CAUTION
If the loading mass of the table is too high or too low or the load
is distributed unevenly, high rotation speeds can cause vibra-
tions. This can result in the equipment moving uncontrollably
and potentially falling off the table. This can lead to property
damage and injuries.
Do not operate the equipment without tray and loading.
Switch off the shaker drive, when the equipment has been
unloaded.
Place the cultivation flasks symmetrically in the middle of
the tray.
In case of strong vibrations, reduce the rotation speed and
check the loading weights or the distribution of the load
(see chapter 7.2.5 "Notices on Loading the Table", page
53).
The door can be opened while the equipment is running. As soon
as the door is opened slightly, the table is decelerated slowly until it
comes to a halt. To reduce energy costs, the fan, heating and cool-
ing (if available) switch off automatically when the door is opened.
As soon as the door is closed completely, the table and cooling
restart automatically. Keep in mind that cooling switches on with a
time delay of up to three minutes to protect the compressor from
overloading.
CAUTION
If the door is opened while the shaker drive is running, the table
can cause injury due to its significant momentum.
As such, take care when opening the door while the shaker
drive is running.
Only load or unload the equipment when the table has
come to a complete standstill.
1.
Temporarily stop the equipment by slightly opening the door.
2.
Wait until the table has come to a standstill.
3.
Open the equipment door all the way.
4.
Load or unload equipment.
5.
Close the door again.
The equipment restarts automatically.
